Dutch buckets are one ofthe most popular hydroponic containers on earth. Cut flower growersin Europe use them almost exclusively. They are affordable,reusable and can be easily connected together making a Dutchbucket system endlessly expandable. Dutch buckets can be usedwith a large variety of different growing mediums.
The ProductFeatures:
- DutchBuckets are designed to be fed by drip emitters and plumbed todrain using a common 1.5" PVC pipe, purchased locally.
- SiphonElbows regulate safety reservoir of nutrient solution at bottom ofbucket to 1" deep. This feature prevents growing medium from dryingout and causing water stress between irrigation cycles. Siphon pipealso prevents over accumulation of nutrient solution. Two siphonelbows are recommended per each bucket.
- Youcan use just about any type of growing media, including expandedclay pellets, perlite, and coconut coir.
